Our History
1967
The company was founded as Things Very Special. Originally, it operated as a home-based, appointment-only business specializing in personalized stationery and social invitations.
1980s
Under second-generation ownership, the business moved from a home-based model to a brick-and-mortar retail location off St. Augustine Road, expanding its offerings to include fine gifts.
2016
Under third ownership, the business underwent a major transformation. It shifted focus away from traditional stationery toward locally made gifts and launched the Jax Arts Market.
2019
After participating in Riverside Arts Market, the company pivoted from retail to an event-based sales model. It was rebranded as Bello Boopie to reflect its new focus on Cards that don't Suck—a line of irreverent, humorous greeting cards.
